According toCBC, the Iphone will be coming to Canada later within the year. This is the second time that i have heard of this. They reported that Rogers said Tuesday that it has reached an agreement with Apple to bring the world famous phone to Canada.

Cbc says that the company declined to give pricing information, infact both Rogers and Apple have kept the business very quiet.
Not to say that the Iphone isn’t already in Canada. There are thousands of people that have made the trip to the states and unlocked the phone to work with Rogers. Apple also plans to sell 10 million Iphones by the end of this year alone. An estimated 5 million Iphones have already been sold.

The QuickCam Pro 9000 i have found to be very useful to me. I have used it for all of my broadcasting at live.bradwelltv.com.

However there are some ups and downs to it, including the microphone. You would never know that the microphone is supposed to cancel noise, as there is always a constant buzzing on it. It also fuzzes up if you talk very much more than a whisper. If i had to rate the microphone on the webcam it would be a 2 out of 10.

The Camera however is a different story. With an 8 mega pixel camera, it just amazes me how clear it really is. It looks sharp, and very clean. It also works very well with video editing software. That is about the only thing you can say about the Camera. It is very good.

Here are the specifications below that Logitech has posted to their website.

The Canon ZR500 has excellent image quality and is very small and portable. It takes 3 hours to charge fully. That’s not that bad. In my package they sent me 2 batteries. It has a whopping 800 times digital zoom, with a firewire port that comes with it. It has good lighting, with a plastic cover for screen protection. Sound has an ok quality… I would rate it at about a 8 out of 10 with 10 being the highest. It is also a very tough Camcorder. I dropped it countless times and have had absolutely no problems with it after the falls. By the way i dropped it on the road, which was paved. It also comes with a 2.5 widescreen, connected to it exteriorly.

More and more now people are becoming the victims of identity theft. The problem is that a great amount of it is from the Internet. Today i have come up with a few tips to keep your passwords safe and prevent hackers from getting them.

1- Don’t use just one password. To many people now days are just using one password. Try making multiple passwords. Another good idea is to keep passwords that are related with the real world like banking, social security etc in the real world, and keep the passwords that you use on line (Youtube, Facebook etc) separate from them. Having them all the same password will increase the chance of being robbed. Think of it this way: If someone gets one of your passwords, and thats the password you used for every single account on line, most likely you now have no access to any of those accounts.

2- Don’t share your passwords. This should be pretty obvious. This usually happens with teenagers and sometimes leads to bullying. Kids will all give each other everyones password putting their full trust in each other. Then one person changes the password, then guess what: The person you gave your password to has control over your stuff, and you have no control what so ever. Even if you trust the person, keep the passwords to yourself. Why would you want anyone else to know them anyway?

3-Make sure that you know all of your passwords- Make sure you use passwords that are good, but make sure you know them because it is not necessarily a good idea to write or type them. If someone gets a hold of these passwords when your not looking weather on paper or on your computer it could be devastating. If you have to type them due to long term memory problems try and set a master password(Sort of like a password for passwords). Some Internet browsers have this feature for example. Having a master password just creates another wall that someone has to get through to get your passwords.

There are plenty other things you can do to protect yourself, but most of it is just common sense. Keep private information private, and don’t share your personal information with others, even if it’s your best friend in the world.

Thanks

We are probably all used to the Television by now, and what it does, and how it helps us to look for entertainment value. If you didn’t notice by now, people are starting to switch from those television screens to computer monitors. Yes!!! More and more people are watching their favourite television programs on the computer. Television stations are posting their latest shows on their websites like ABC.

I personally have changed my life around. I am rarely watching my favourite shows on television anymore. Instead i turn to the broadcasters website, or just watch Youtube. It has become more easier for me to use the Internet so that i can watch Tv, and do my work at the same time.

Even better. It is possible to attach your computer to your 50″ plasma and watch your online shows from there, and still be able to use your computer. Now that is like a double bonus. I definitely recommend using the new age in technology and watch your entertainment, and work on your computer all at the same time, and with Youtube adding high definition television…….. It will be even better.

Just thought i would touch on something today……… I hopey you enjoyed the post. Leave a comment below, and speak what your opinion is on this matter.

If you really think about it, your office environment is a big influence on how you work. I have noticed with myself for an example that i like a good clean working space, in a larger than normal room. I also prefer it to be silent with very little distraction when in-fact i am working. I differ in that opinion when i am just using the computer for entertainment.

Right now my arrangement of my office as you can see at http://live.bradwelltv.com, is with a desk on one side of the room with a whole load of junk on the floor. I have the Webcam on the other side of the room, and a filing cabinet to my very far right. This room that i am working in right now is probably only 2.5 metres all around. I have very few objects that i keep 24/7 on my desk which includes a land-line phone, and a stapler. What i think makes my office unique is that there is very few objects in it which keeps it feeling light and clean.

So really the only thing that you can do with the arrangement of your home office is first have a comfortable chair. Second make sure your workspace is “workable” if you know what i mean. If you come into the office and want to leave, it is obviously not the right set up, or the right office for you. I also recommend that you keep it cleaned and organized, and try to reduce as much access clutter as your possibly can. This is big…. It keeps distractions at a minimum, and essentially forces you to work.

Make sure also that you have all the supplies you think you would need in the office, “In The Office”. Going some other place to find some supplies can easily cause you to become offtrack, and disrupt your work habits. I also recomend having a telephone/cellphone nearby just in-case you have to make any sort of business calls.

In the end my number one recommendation is to have fun with it. Enjoy your workspace, and make sure it not only does the job. Make sure that it exceeds your expectations with the job, and does everything you need to do with it with profession. I know i definitely have fun with my office, and love coming into it every single day.

Thanks

There have been more and more reports coming it recently that suggest that the end of the Internet if we don’t try to improve our technology, or if we slow our use down on the Internet. Bandwidth is being pushed to the max, and now with high definition videos coming out on Youtube, the question is, if there will be any of it left for anyone else.

It is estimated that the bandwidth used by youtube in 2007, was more than the entire bandwidth of everyone(in Canada) in 2001. What does that tell you? Now that Youtube is adding high definition. Could Youtube alone cause the end of the internet? With teenagers eating up bandwidth on Youtube, Facebook, Instant Messengers, and other social networking programs, teenagers eat up a huge chunk of bandwith.

Lets also take into consideration what would happen without the Internet. In my opinion the world will virtually stop. People have relied on the Internet for communication including email, online voice communication, and television. Yes we are all addicted. I myself have noticed extreme boredom upon myself without the Internet. A great portion of families have said that there likely isn’t one time of the day at least someone isn’t on the Internet.

In most cases, scientific studies are incorrect, but in my opinion the end of the Internet does seem possible. I myself know that i will not stop using it, so i am depending on the improvement of technology to save it.

note: Study of Youtube usage is an estimate, and not an official pole, or scientific study.

By now you have all probably heard of online business, and people have probably told you that it doesn’t work. Unfortunately for them they are incorrect. Having a website or an online business is now cheaper for the owner, and easier for the buyer. A big sum of people nowadays are turning to online shopping with a majority buying electronics. There have been websites where people buy their groceries online and have it delivered the very next day. There is also “Garage Sales” online. Ya you heard right! People are now discovering the ease of selling household objects on the net, and it seems to be working.

So here are some reasons why working online works.

1- Easy to start. Websites are easy to create once you get the hang of basic HTML coding, and i mean basic. There are programs out there that do most of the coding for you like Kompozer. It is free, fast to download, and easy to use. I have just downloaded this program and have had great success with my first few pages.

2-Convenient- How you run your business? Well from your computer of course. Everything you do can be done directly from the comfort of your home. An example would be selling products. Create a website, sell the product, get it sent directly from the manufacturer to your customer. So what i am really saying is get the product delivered from somewhere else while you take a majority of the income.

3-Money. It takes a while but eventually money will keep coming into your pocket. It will take time to have your website/product noticed. But it all depends on how much time you spend on promoting, building, and advertising your website. Use simple programs like Google Adsense to bring in income from ads on your website. Get your website noticed with search engines. If you don’t understand that concept there are a few websites out there like http://netsurfmarketing.com/ that are designed especially for these kinds of problems.

Those are just a few reasons why online businesses work. Try it yourself! I mean what is the worst that can happen?
