An all new Radio Station! Including Chris Pirillo!
May 11, 2008
Well there is a new radio station in town. Ok maybe not in town, but within the whole world. It’s called KBC Radio. With Shows on Channel 12902 on Ubroadcast, KBC has new shows including Tech2do live, The Chris Pirillo Show, and KBC News.
Here is a bit more about KBC:
The Kanwell Broadcasting Corporation(KBC) First started in 2004, as a radio station on ubroadcast. Yes it was indeed us at the dial of 632. It was a sports radio station, that caught very few peoples eyes. With only two shows every week, it was not grabbing the attention KBC was hoping for.
In late 2006, KBC Radio shut down due to the insufficient work of the station. The Owner Bradley Bradwell was also going through personal difficulties including the death of several family members.
In January 2008, there was a rebirth. Bradley Bradwell was ready to go, but this time he was going to reshape the whole station and get the most qualified speakers on his station. This includes Chris Pirillo, and Brad Roberts. Yes KBC was now a station with the best speakers of news, technology, sports, entertainment, and much more. We are dedicated to bringing you the latest in these subjects. With a new list of shows including the KBC hourly news, KBC is as big as it has ever been.
If you would like more information on The New KBC radio go to Their Website, and learn more about their shows.
KBC also has fee advertising. If you are interested in Advertising on KBC radio email me at bradley@bradwelltv.com.
KBC is also looking for Talk Shows, so if you are interesting in having your own show, email the address above. There are only a few spots left.
Anyway, Hope you enjoy the new Station in town.

Miley Cyrus Pictures and Technology!
April 29, 2008
Most of you have probably heard all of the news with the Miley Cyrus pictures. In fact i was on the homepage of Youtube today, and that Rss Video feed you see on the opening page. It was showing a video being watched about Miley Cyrus every single Scroll.
So this brings me to my point. How much has technology effected the way we think of superstars now days. How much does this effect our children? Is there a proper way to use the internet?
The common user of the Internet especially small children have no idea that whats on the Internet stays on the Internet. Even if you try to delete it, there is still someway to get it. This has become growing problems with Youtube, Facebook, and a whole bunch of other social networking sites.
Another question would be whether Miley made a mistake with these pictures, or whether she did it intentionally to get attention (which she most definatly got). Some celebrities are using the internet to their advantage and posting stuff on it. Stratigically speaking, although it may not be the good type, it still is attention.
I know this is a little bit confusing, but i thought that i would just post my thoughts for the day.

Is the Iphone ever coming to Canada?
April 20, 2008
I have been searching and searching the net and still there is no 100% positive sign that the Iphone is indeed coming to Canada? I personally am getting a little impatient now that i am looking for a new phone. It also bothers me that no wireless company or Apple has really came out and gave any announcements to when the Iphone is coming out, or weather it is coming out or not. I have seen small articles all over the net as to assumption on when there might possibly be a release date, but i still have not found any solid information.
I know there is an ability to unlock the Iphone in Canada, but that really is so much work to order it from the united states, get it shipped up here to Canada, and then have to figure out how to unlock the darn thing. I know of only one person in my area of the world who has unlocked the phone, and still aren’t getting the best service out of it.
If anyone knows any information on when the Iphone will be released, please email me at bradley@bradwelltv.com, or leave a comment below. I would really like to hear some solid information as to when this “amazing device” is supposed to be released.
Thanks

How to catch up on school work.
April 12, 2008
It is really disappointing when you become sick and end up missing school for 1,2, or maybe 3 days. Not so much the fact that you don’t have to do anything, but more with the fact that afterwards you have to catch up all 12-16 hours of class and lesson you have missed. Here are the top 5 tips to getting your homework finished and caught up.
1- When you notice you get sick. If you feel that you may be getting sick the day before you get sick, START. What i mean by this is get prepared by asking teachers what work you have to do within the next couple of days, and what assignments are going to be due. This can help allot, because when you come back it will be a little harder to get two days lessons out of teachers in an hour or so.
2- Use the Internet- You wouldn’t believe this but the Internet does help you with your school work. All you really have to do is Search the topic you are working on and you would be surprised what you might find. I coincidentally have found the answer key to a few of my assignments just by searching it on Google. Your School may also have a “How To” section on their website where they have live help, or tutoring. Teachers may also post assignments to the website for students to use when they are absent. Again i have found that using the Internet is sometimes easier to learn from than teachers. You never know, there might not be schools in the future. It just may be online.
3- Dedicate Time- It may be hard to do in some cases, but dedicating time out of your Sick Day to catch up on missed work is an excellent idea. Even one hour will make the difference. This is also a good idea because after you go back to school, teachers are probably going to dump the biggest load of homework on you, you have ever had. Plus if you wait, you will still have the homework you had to have completed before you became sick. Now thinking about that just makes me sick.
4-Make sure you know when tests and quizzes are coming up- This can be very important to you focusing on your work. Some teachers may not let you do a test another day when you come back to school. They may in-fact force you to write the test that very day. Try your very best to know about these tests as early as possible because most of the time they can be a very large portion of your mark.
5- Don’t take to much time off-. I’m not saying go to school when your sick, but don’t over do it. Some people end up taking an extra day off because they can. This can really effect what happens with your school. It will put you behind even more than you were expecting and really is very unnecessary. This can be especially bad when you are in high school, causing you to miss lessons, and getting a ship load of homework. So only take the time off that you need, not how much you want.
That’s it. Just thought i would come up with a quick top 5 list there. I hope that when your sick that you take into consideration your health, but don’t forget about your schooling and studies as well as they are both very important to living a healthy life style.

What should i do with my office? How do i arrange my office?
March 29, 2008
If you really think about it, your office environment is a big influence on how you work. I have noticed with myself for an example that i like a good clean working space, in a larger than normal room. I also prefer it to be silent with very little distraction when in-fact i am working. I differ in that opinion when i am just using the computer for entertainment.
Right now my arrangement of my office as you can see at http://live.bradwelltv.com, is with a desk on one side of the room with a whole load of junk on the floor. I have the Webcam on the other side of the room, and a filing cabinet to my very far right. This room that i am working in right now is probably only 2.5 metres all around. I have very few objects that i keep 24/7 on my desk which includes a land-line phone, and a stapler. What i think makes my office unique is that there is very few objects in it which keeps it feeling light and clean.
So really the only thing that you can do with the arrangement of your home office is first have a comfortable chair. Second make sure your workspace is “workable” if you know what i mean. If you come into the office and want to leave, it is obviously not the right set up, or the right office for you. I also recommend that you keep it cleaned and organized, and try to reduce as much access clutter as your possibly can. This is big…. It keeps distractions at a minimum, and essentially forces you to work.
Make sure also that you have all the supplies you think you would need in the office, “In The Office”. Going some other place to find some supplies can easily cause you to become offtrack, and disrupt your work habits. I also recomend having a telephone/cellphone nearby just in-case you have to make any sort of business calls.
In the end my number one recommendation is to have fun with it. Enjoy your workspace, and make sure it not only does the job. Make sure that it exceeds your expectations with the job, and does everything you need to do with it with profession. I know i definitely have fun with my office, and love coming into it every single day.
Thanks

How to help the elderly and seniors with technology.
March 21, 2008
Oh it was the good old days of taking the train to each town, and having the excitement of the first telephone call. Or that is what the seniors of our world and elderly thought. Well a lot has changed since then, and i think that it is important that we introduce our senior citizens to all of this new technology. Here are some tips i came up with for helping seniors with technological problems.
1- Be simple. Most elderly people presently probably don’t even understand what a folder is. NO NO NO Grandpa, i’m not talking about the paper ones. I’m talking about the ones that are on the computer. With the elderly try to stay away from tech savey phrases like download, or upload. Try and take a simpler approach like ” I’m putting this on your computer” or” I am putting this from your computer onto the Internet”. Most of the time all of these technological words can just confuse the elderly and sometimes the younger citizens of our world. Take your time when speaking to them and make sure that they understand what your are talking about.
2- Take it slow, and explain everything. Just like trying to learn anything. Learning about how to use technology can be difficult. With the elderly make sure you have a half an hour to explain a fifteen minute process. Make sure they understand what you are talking about, and show them in the easiest way possible. They are most likely not going to remember about the different files they have to click on. Try and make it easy for them to access, and maybe go over it a few times to make sure that they remember what you have just told them.
3-Remind them- The elderly are probably not going to remember everything you say to them. Assure them and remind them what you do and how you do it. If you have to take five minutes and explain everything all over, DO IT. It really effects them mentally if they don’t understand the concept, especially in technology. By the end of the day they will probobly understand the basic concept of what you are trying to say.
That’s about all. The really key thing is that you stay calm, and have fun with what you are doing. Just think of what you and the senior citizen will feel once you both accomplish a project. It will make the hassle less on you, and it will make someone else feel happy that they have learnt something new. These steps may not only be for seniors. Anyone who is not tech savey may need your calm guidance. Just be patient, and enjoy.

Polution, world peace, green, olympics, end of the world.
March 21, 2008
I think it is finally time to seriously consider everything as the title states above. In fact i think we should be past the state of consideration, and we should be past the state that i should be worrying about talking about this. This is a serious message that all world leaders, and in-fact peopleĀ in my opinion should take to heart. We are being selfish, and self-centered as human beings. You are probably wondering what i am trying to say. I mean what are we doing postponing the problem for the next generation, and our offspring. In my opinion it is very rude of us to do all of the talking and then just leave it for others. I think our world is more important than keeping a factory open.
Since our world leaders are doing a very poor job of this, lets all start right now, and take the initiative. Stop all pollution, and stop emitting Greenhouse Gases.
