Yesterday i went to a Vancouver Canucks game, and i must say that yesterday i really noticed the difference between watching the event live and watching it on Tv. When i was there it is so easy to miss something while when your watching it televised you cant miss anything because they always have the camera focused on the game.

Definitely being at the live event is way more enjoyable because you can feel what the environment is like in the facility while when your watching it on Tv you are forced to imagine what the atmosphere is inside the building. It is also interesting how you are able to see the “set” in the facility. You see everything that happens and how it works, and you are able to enjoy and appreciate what is happening.

Just thought i would write something quick about that.

Thanks

We now have heard of the NHL All Star game happening this weekend, and we have also become increasingly aware of the type of play we see during an allstar game. They are boring, with the slight exception of Major Leauge Baseball. The players are just not trying hard enough to make the game interesting.

Now i am sure you are all wondering why it is like this. In most cases it is due to the fact that managers etc don’t want their players injured. If you get hurt during an All-Star game it could lead to problems for your regular team. Now people are coming up with their own idea’s to have players play harder.

Here are some quick idea’s:

-Payments

-Extras

-Power

-”Somethin, somethin”

-Influence

Those are just some idea’s to get the players to try harder, because as both you and me know, watching allstar games are nowdays just downright boring.
