Well there is a new radio station in town. Ok maybe not in town, but within the whole world. It’s called KBC Radio. With Shows on Channel 12902 on Ubroadcast, KBC has new shows including Tech2do live, The Chris Pirillo Show, and KBC News.

Here is a bit more about KBC:

The Kanwell Broadcasting Corporation(KBC) First started in 2004, as a radio station on ubroadcast. Yes it was indeed us at the dial of 632. It was a sports radio station, that caught very few peoples eyes. With only two shows every week, it was not grabbing the attention KBC was hoping for.
In late 2006, KBC Radio shut down due to the insufficient work of the station. The Owner Bradley Bradwell was also going through personal difficulties including the death of several family members.
In January 2008, there was a rebirth. Bradley Bradwell was ready to go, but this time he was going to reshape the whole station and get the most qualified speakers on his station. This includes Chris Pirillo, and Brad Roberts. Yes KBC was now a station with the best speakers of news, technology, sports, entertainment, and much more. We are dedicated to bringing you the latest in these subjects. With a new list of shows including the KBC hourly news, KBC is as big as it has ever been.

If you would like more information on The New KBC radio go to Their Website, and learn more about their shows.

KBC also has fee advertising. If you are interested in Advertising on KBC radio email me at bradley@bradwelltv.com.

KBC is also looking for Talk Shows, so if you are interesting in having your own show, email the address above. There are only a few spots left.

Anyway, Hope you enjoy the new Station in town.

I am not sure if you have noticed, but lately i have really taken the time and have noticed that there is less and less domains available. When i got my domain, i had noticed that bradwell.com was taken. That really surprised me. Who takes Bradwell. One of the problems with domain names just being eaten away, is that they are not necessarily being taken away from people who build websites. Instead they are being taken and used for the soul purpose of advertising.

Indeed i am sure that you have noticed more and more that websites you visit have a search bar, and then the rest is all just advertising. The only question is if this should be allowed. Of course it is their own domain that they paid for, but in my opinion this is just making the Internet look like, for a lack of a better word “Vandalized”. Is this the truth?

What i am recommending is that you get your own domain quickly before all of them are taken from advertisers. You wouldn’t believe how many of your choices are already taken. When you do get them, try and get as many as you can for your future websites and businesses. In my opinion it’s now or never.

I would definitely like to get your comments about this. Leave a comment after the post! Thanks.

Thanks

So you have just made a website………………. Now what do you do? Most people create a website expecting it to just take off, and be one of the most popular sites on the internet like Youtube, Google, or Facebook. Well right now you are probably being laughed at. Oh wait there is no one to laugh at you.

Have no fear though. I have come up with some quick and easy solutions to help you market your website.

1- Use the power of Youtube. Create a promotional video and upload it to Youtube. You wouldn’t believe how many hits some websites get by putting it on the massive site. If you do choose to put it on Youtube, try and add a link to your website on the main screen. An example of this would be my website http://live.bradwelltv.com. As you can see i have a title bar at the bottom of my screen, and on the bottom left corner there is my website. Although this is not a link, it is still noticeable to the public. You can get hundreds of hits just by using Youtube, so i defanatly recommend using it.

2-Comment in Blogs! You wouldn’t believe this but commenting in blogs gives you that presence in online communities. People will look to you to answer questions that they think you have knowledge of. Now this doesn’t mean put a comment in any blog. Strategically place them in blogs related to your website and your expertise. Also go onto many blogs, and not just one. This will give you a wider presence throughout the internet, and cause your name to become more familiar in your users heads.

3- Give out contact information. Make sure that on your website you have an about/contact page for your users to be able to contact you. Without a about/contact area your website will look more spammy than professional looking. Without it you will cause your users to feel hopeless, and that they are not an important part of your community. If you have a contact page and receive emails from your users, REPLY!!!!!!
Nothing feels worse for your user then feeling like their question isn’t important. If you don’t reply there is also a very high possibility that you have lost your costumer.

4- Be quick- This is very important to keeping users addicted to your site. Apply fresh new content at least 3 times a week. If your site isn’t updated frequently is becomes boring and unattractive. This doesn’t mean redo your whole site 3 times a week. It means add new things, write something new, or just do something that isn’t old. When i say to be quick, i also mean “be first”. Try your best to make sure you have newly released information first, so that search engines will quickly find the information, and direct it to your site. One of the worst things for a user is seeing the same story come up from website after website after website. They like to see something new, and creative.

Thought i would just write that quick little post today.

Hope you enjoyed.

The internet has created alot of new operotunities for just about everyone. Certain people use it for communication, some for games, some for entertainment, and some for business. You wouldn’t believe how easy it is to make money now days with the increasing interest with online businesses. I for 1 have created something similar to an online business. Although it sounds cheasy, it does indeed generate revenue.

The other day i just came up with a random idea to try and make money with a Piczo website. Yes i am talking about those childish websites that your children go on. The website is called http://codegallery.piczo.com, and it works. I have designed the website so that it attracts people to the free stuff, but it also attracts people to the stuff that i do charge for. This will infact generate revenue. I call CodeGallery a “Piczo Help Site” which has become increasingly more popular throughout the Piczo community. These “Help Websites” are usually built to help other Piczo users learn how to use basic html coding. Some i must say i have really been impressed with. Infact some Piczo websites have become so popular that the site owner moves from Piczo and gets their own Domain Ie: http://graphic-fusion.org. Graphic Fusion used to be a Piczo website, but now they have gained so much popularity throughout the Piczo community, they really don’t need Piczo anymore.

Another way to make easy money is to simply use Adsense. Everyone knows about it, and how it can “Mix In” with your website. These Google Ads may look small, but they will eventually bring you a good amount of money in the future.

In the end i think it is safe to say that using the internet is a very easy way to generate revenue from whatever type of website your hosting. Weather it be from a blog, a social networking site, Piczo, personal website, or anything else online for that matter. There is a 90% chance that you will be able to make money off of it.  You never know until you try.

More and more people now days are attempting to build their own website, and expect it to pull together in just a few minutes. Unfortunately for them this is not at all the case. Building a community and attracting visitors to your website requires allot of work. Domains Seller websites give everyone the impression that when you build a website you automatically get thousands of hits like Facebook, or Youtube. All i have to say to them is Good Luck. Fortunately i have come up with a few tips of my own on building a community for your website.

1. The Community Knows- Listen to your visitors opinions if they give you feedback. Most people make a website expecting to have a very large obvious. Kind of like getting the community to surround him, when he should in-fact be surrounding the community. Take feedback from visitors very seriously. In-fact you should probably have an easy link to your email and or a contact form located on your website.

2. Make it easy for them to access you- Sign up for every social networking website that you can think of including, Facebook, Youtube, Myspace, and Twitter. These websites will become crucial in letting your visitors know that there is fresh content on your website. Also create more than one email account. One that it for the community to email you like bradley@bradwelltv.com, and other ones to receive all of the newsletters from the websites you have signed up for. Make sure you update everything often. That may even mean a few times a day. Just don’t forget that there is a difference between advertising and spamming.

3-Attract the right people- If your running a sports website, you obviously don’t want to get the biggest geek that has ever lived onto your website. You want people that are interested in what you are talking about. Post comments on other Blogs, preferably ones that are related to the subject your are looking for. They usually have a Field where you can put a link to your website. Just remember not to spam on these websites. Your visitors wont respect you if they see that you are Spamming in any sort of way.

4- Stay Committed- If you want a community, you are going to have to work for it. Building a web community takes time just like anything else including school, chores etc. Make sure that you are doing what you want to do, and makes sure that you enjoy it. No one wants to be around someone who dislikes his own work. Staying committed could possibly mean updating when you are on holidays. It could mean updating from a mobile device. It could mean skipping dinner with someone else. OK that you probably shouldn’t do, but you get the point.

5- Stay on topic- Make sure that you are focused on one topic so that the people that visit your website want to stay on your website. For example: If someone has a blog and they have a post about modeling then the next post they talk about spots. They are probably only going to get people looking at the two different subjects separately. What i mean by this is that most likely they will only see the one post, and then leave, as the visitor would have no interest in sports. This doesn’t happen 100% of the time, but is a realistic scenario.

I hope these tips will help you in whatever type of on-line community you may be creating, and i hope that your community will go places. Hey your first way to build a community- Comment on the Post.

I think it is finally time to seriously consider everything as the title states above. In fact i think we should be past the state of consideration, and we should be past the state that i should be worrying about talking about this. This is a serious message that all world leaders, and in-fact people in my opinion should take to heart. We are being selfish, and self-centered as human beings. You are probably wondering what i am trying to say. I mean what are we doing postponing the problem for the next generation, and our offspring. In my opinion it is very rude of us to do all of the talking and then just leave it for others. I think our world is more important than keeping a factory open.

Since our world leaders are doing a very poor job of this, lets all start right now, and take the initiative. Stop all pollution, and stop emitting Greenhouse Gases.

Yesterday i went to a Vancouver Canucks game, and i must say that yesterday i really noticed the difference between watching the event live and watching it on Tv. When i was there it is so easy to miss something while when your watching it televised you cant miss anything because they always have the camera focused on the game.

Definitely being at the live event is way more enjoyable because you can feel what the environment is like in the facility while when your watching it on Tv you are forced to imagine what the atmosphere is inside the building. It is also interesting how you are able to see the “set” in the facility. You see everything that happens and how it works, and you are able to enjoy and appreciate what is happening.

Just thought i would write something quick about that.

Thanks

Blogs have gotten very popular over the past few years especially with technology enthusiasts. A blog is basically an un-edited journal or diary that someone has written. People usually use them to talk about vacations they are having, and use it to keep in close contact with family members. There are many free blogging servers out there such as WordPress and Blogger. I prefer WordPress.

How can a blog help me? Well if you are running your own self employed on-line business you should be able to let your costumers know what is new and what is happening around your business. An example would be a newsletter. Instead of sending it to your costumers every month, you are able to send the link to your blog to your costumers, and then they can click on it. Therefore they will have easy access to your blog and to your website.

How to get people to my blog? There are many ways of attracting people to your blog. One way is to get accounts on Digg, Feedburner, or Delicious. This way there is a wider spread audience that is able to have access to your blog. It also helps to have a promotional video(s) and possibly post it to Youtube. This way people can see what you are talking about not only through text, but through video and audio as well. It also helps to have an RSS Feed with Feedburner, or other RSS applications. That way people can subscribe to your blog, and get your posts sent directly to them weather it is through Google Reader or their INBOX.

Warnings about having a blog. Of course it is just common seance not to post things that you don’t wan’t other people to know about. For example: Your Home address. It is important for people to remember that once they put something on the Internet it is very hard if not impossible to delete it. Also if you are not at the maturity level to be doing this ie: child, i strongly recommend not going through with getting your own blog until you have reached that level of maturity or you have concent from a parent or guardian.

To conclude this….. It is a great idea to start your own blog to keep in contact with family and old friends or just to let the world know your perspective on life. It is also a good way to advertise your business, and or website. It can also just be a simple hobby of yours that you maybe want to take to the next level and make money. Ie: You can do this through the website Lockergnome.

Anyway TTYL

By now you have all probably heard of online business, and people have probably told you that it doesn’t work. Unfortunately for them they are incorrect. Having a website or an online business is now cheaper for the owner, and easier for the buyer. A big sum of people nowadays are turning to online shopping with a majority buying electronics. There have been websites where people buy their groceries online and have it delivered the very next day. There is also “Garage Sales” online. Ya you heard right! People are now discovering the ease of selling household objects on the net, and it seems to be working.

So here are some reasons why working online works.

1- Easy to start. Websites are easy to create once you get the hang of basic HTML coding, and i mean basic. There are programs out there that do most of the coding for you like Kompozer. It is free, fast to download, and easy to use. I have just downloaded this program and have had great success with my first few pages.

2-Convenient- How you run your business? Well from your computer of course. Everything you do can be done directly from the comfort of your home. An example would be selling products. Create a website, sell the product, get it sent directly from the manufacturer to your customer. So what i am really saying is get the product delivered from somewhere else while you take a majority of the income.

3-Money. It takes a while but eventually money will keep coming into your pocket. It will take time to have your website/product noticed. But it all depends on how much time you spend on promoting, building, and advertising your website. Use simple programs like Google Adsense to bring in income from ads on your website. Get your website noticed with search engines. If you don’t understand that concept there are a few websites out there like http://netsurfmarketing.com/ that are designed especially for these kinds of problems.

Those are just a few reasons why online businesses work. Try it yourself! I mean what is the worst that can happen?
